Once again, another amazing family! What a ride!
These guys definitely kept me on my toes. I wonder if that counts as one of my workouts?
I'm sure that's what keeps their mom in such good shape!
As always, here are a couple of my favorites from our session...

Rudolph would have been in EVERY picture if it were up to this little one. We had to bribe her to get her to put him down long enough for a couple of photos. So, Rudolph kept me company and helped me with my photo composition when he wasn't busy 'posing' himself.

It is always good to get a second opinion on things, you know?

With kids between 1 and 3 years of age, sometimes the photo shoot is more of a 'catch me if you can' sort of thing. So, I played the game and got this image of him playing right behind mom. I love this shot - so real.

Here is us trying to make the kids jealous by taking pics of Mom and Dad alone.

Too cute!

We had 'bed jumping' time. If I hadn't been working, I would have joined in. Doesn't this look like fun??

Those eyes...

Quiet time with mom.

Eskimo kisses!!!

Actually this last photo is so peaceful to me. Just a wonderful moment between a dad and his daughter.

Thank you so much for a wonderful evening full of entertainment. I thoroughly enjoyed it!

I realize that this video has been out for a little while now ... but I STILL love watching it. How cool is this? All done with treadmills in someone's basement...

The Morrows
I had another opportunity to work with a wonderful family!
I had such a great time with them. And what a good looking bunch!
Here are just a few from their session...

This littlest one LOVED to have his picture taken and he definitely kept us all entertained with his antics!

Thank you for being such wonderful clients and making my job one that I continue to enjoy every single day!

Also ... I like to remind people who are new to the blog:

Mackenzie
I got to meet up with another one of my favorite customers this week. Mackenzie was such a great model! She was an absolute angel - as always.
And I just love the way she calls me 'Miss Neysa'.
I had SO many favorites from this session but I couldn't post all of them.
So ... here are just a few of them.

I love the black and whites of her. They are just beautiful.

A close up of those striking eyes of hers.

The pink tutu ... every little girl's dream ...

Mackenzie, thank you for being such a perfect little model. You did a great job! Maybe we can do your next shoot with your new baby brother!!!

I got the best email the other day from one of my customers. I took photos of her husband for some of his promotional material a couple of months ago and now I get to photograph the whole family.
"Our daughter is a little intimidated by studios, and I actually like candid shots better. We would like to have one posed family picture, but other than that I'm up for anything. I've been looking at your website and of course, the pictures you took of Greg, and they are incredible, so I completely trust your judgment.
I'm so excited!!!!!"
It is the kind of thing I love to hear - like music to my ears!
All of my shoots are so different - especially when I am not shooting in a studio environment. So it is great to hear that my clients are 'up for anything'.

A few more pics .... and a quick note:
I STILL haven't gotten through all of my pictures from our trip to Hawaii! Caught a cold as soon as I got back and am busy fighting that right now, but here are a couple more I found that I really liked!
Footprints ...

I must have taken a couple of hundred shots of the waves crashing on the rocks and beach while we were there. For some reason, it fascinated me. These last two were two of my favorites ...

For those of you who I have already photographed this year and who have not ordered prints:

I would like to send in all of my orders by the first week of December (or at least the bulk of them) so the lab has enough time to get them to back to me before the BIG-last-minute holiday rush. Just keep in mind that if you order after the first week, it may take longer than normal. It normally takes about a week for orders to come back from the lab.

Beauty
Being a photographer, I find beauty in everyone that I photograph. I believe that every one of us is beautiful in our own unique way and it is my job to capture that.
I found this on Dove's website and had to share.
It is no wonder our view of "beauty" is so distorted.
When I work in Photoshop, I 'keep it real'. I don't stretch necks, enlarge eyes, lips or breasts or do any head swapping.
I'm so glad to see a company celebrating real beauty.
Want to be beautiful?
Look in the mirror. You already are.

Aloha!
Well, I am back from paradise! I can't remember the last time I have been that relaxed.
Hawaii was amazing!
I haven't had time to get in touch with everyone who has emailed and/or called me over the last 11 days, but I am contacting everyone in order! Thank you to everyone who sent me 'well wishes' for a safe and wonderful vacation. I appreciate it.
Since I wasn't able to upload to my blog while we were away, here are a few of my favorite pics so far. I still have a ton of pictures to go through.

Mahalo!
