Joy and Eric
Karen and I had a blast photographing Joy and Eric's big day!

Here are a couple of my favorites of the two of them .. but be sure to click on the show below to see more images.
Here's Joy looking absolutely stunning!

And, Eric, who I think we can all agree, is quite a 'catch'!

And, did I mention my favorite thing about these two?

They are 100% IN LOVE with each other!

Click here for a slideshow of their wedding day.

Thank you both for being so welcoming to Karen and I and for allowing us to share such and important and blessed day in your lives!

Sophia and Daniel
I got to do an engagement shoot with Sophia and Daniel at the Nature Center. Now I don't know how many of you have been there ... but if you haven't been, you should visit it at least once. It was so beautiful and peaceful.
They are also available for smaller weddings.
I know I say this all the time, but I really enjoyed their shoot. They are the kind of people who are so easy to be around. So geniune and warm. I am really looking forward to their wedding.
Here are a few shots from their eShoot.

I loved this old tree and how it LEANED all the way over the walking path. So I asked them go to stand over by it ...

and to my surprise ... I get this!

A little splash of violet from some flowers in the foreground...

A quiet moment ....

Can't wait for the wedding guys!

I'll let you know when your proof portfolio is in.

Hopefully I will have a little more time to post this week. Still trying to get my head above water ... so be patient :)

The Sweetheart of Ohio
Ok ... so I have gotten a couple of emails about where I've been lately. I'm still here! I've just been super busy lately and have neglected my blog. I'm sorry. I"m back and am posting!!!
I shot a wedding at the Loveland City Hall a week or so ago for a wonderful couple. Here are a few shots from their day....
First, and foremost, the rings...

A few shots from the ceremony ...

I love the way Stephanie looked at Ron through the ceremony... so sweet! It just makes me smile inside!

The kiss ... under the Loveland heart ... with the mayor smiling in the background. His look is just adorable. He's looking down so as not to intrude on their big kiss ... but still showing how happy he is for the couple.

We headed over to the park across the way for a few shots of the newly married couple.

And just in case you were all worried that they wouldn't have a 'first dance' ... worry no more ...

They even had music (note her best friend and brother in the background singing ever so loudly a beautiful love ballad)! I don't recommend they pursue a career in singing however :)

Then we had some good old fashioned fun!

A quick ring shot and then we headed home for the night...

Congratulations to Stephanie and Ron! I wish you both a long and wonderfully happy life together.

Ok ... GUESS what day this month these two are getting married??
Joy and Eric live out of town and so we didn't get to do their engagement session until this past weekend. They are a great couple who are a lot of fun!

I love how 'quiet' these two photos feel to me.

I am looking forward to the big wedding day! Only a few more days!!!

He surprised Amy when she showed up for what she thought was a CincyChic interview!!

Engagement shoot in Columbus
I headed up to Columbus last week for an engagement shoot with Romeo and Kendra. They are a great couple getting married this July.
We wandered around down near the river and got some great shots.
Here are a few from their session...

I love these two shots... the light was great, the overhanging trees were beautiful and I loved the curve of the sidewalk.

Here is one of their baby, Jackson. He was such a good little man! And he cracked me up because everytime I called his name he would 'pose' for me :)

I had a great time with the three of you and just know you're wedding will be so much fun!

Wedding
I had the honor of working as a second photographer for Karen a couple of weeks ago. Here are a few images from their big day.
The flower decorations and a view of the cake from above.

The little flowergirl getting her bow hooked in the back. She was an absolute angel.

A couple of shots of the dress waiting for Kathy.

Getting laced up.

As a second photographer I stayed at the back of the church for most of the ceremony and caught this little one looking everywhere but at wedding ceremony!

A shot of the flowergirl and ring bearer headed down the aisle and Kathy getting into the limo at the end.

Father/daughter dance. I always love dad's expressions during the dance. Dad's are so crazy about their little girls. It is almost magical.

I have never really posted reception DANCE shots on my blog or website, so I thought I would change things up and show a couple of them this time.

There were over 60 kids at this wedding!

Yep. That's right ... I said OVER 60. They were wild! So as I was bobbing and weaving through the dance floor, I had to dodge rambunctious kindergarteners! They had so much fun and added so much action to the evening.

Karen, thank you again for allowing me to accompany you! It was an absolute joy!

Can't wait for the next one!

Kathy and Brian - CONGRATS!!!

Jarrod and Judy
We headed up to Eden Park for their eShoot. We had a lot of fun wandering around the park. We even had someone offer to blow bubbles for one of our photos!!!

These two are so cute together!

Ok .... this one is just something I saw when I was standing above them on the park bench. I love the way you can see Judy through Jarrod's glasses. Truly seeing her the way he does!

A dandelion blowing contest ... that Judy is CLEARLY winning!

But who's keeping score??

I love the look through the trees and seeing this moment.

The light just doesn't get any better than this ...

I had a great time with the two of you and I'm looking forward to the wedding this August!!
