I had the opportunity to repay Karen for helping me at so many weddings this year. She is a wonderful photographer with so much talent. Here are a few shots from the day ...
Love this shot of the bride from the back.
I love how the tones are washed out...

This little guy was just begging to be photographed..

The girls waiting to go down the aisle ...

This is one of the two flower girls ... the other one was younger. I was thinking about something, as they hesitated before walking down to the front of the church. They are both so small and

that aisle sure does look LONG.

I finally had the chance to pull out my Lens Baby for this wedding.

Great shot of the father-of-the-bride while others were being photographed by Karen. He was just taking it all in.

The guys waiting for their turn to 'strike a pose'

Mr. and Mrs.

Congratulations to the newly married couple. Many happy years to come!

Thank you, Karen, for inviting me along!

I took this photo on Saturday morning. I loved the way the light was shining through the trees in our backyard. It was absolutely gorgeous. So, I am sharing it with you.
It is one of those things that you see and maybe you even talk about how beautiful it looks, but, me? I take a picture of it!

I had another PDO (Photographer's Day Out) this past weekend. We practiced and learned a lot. We did a mini-shoot of Textures and Patterns while we were at the park. We also practiced things like portraits using fill-flash with a bright backdrop (ie. the sky), posing, and night portraits. All 'good stuff'.
Here are a few of my pics from the mini-shoot.

I had so much fun shooting with Tricia! She is a tennis player from St. Ursuline. She was up for anything and had an award-winning smile which I just loved. We went to a couple of my favorite spots and got some great shots, but we also discovered a few 'new' ones! Here are a few from her session ...

Tricia, loved working with you and your mom! Have a great senior year!

I'll call or email when your proofs are ready.

I had a senior session a week ago with a football player from Indian Hills High School. He had the coolest, most laid-back personality of any of my seniors! Here are a couple of shots from his session.

Brandon - you're a great guy and I hope you have a great senior year!

I am still trying to catch up from being so busy lately. More pics to come ...

While in Vegas, we went to the Improv to see a comedy show. Here's a quick pic of us right before the show. One of the few photos of me you'll see.

Bellagio tower ...

Every casino was packed like this on Saturday night. Of course, come Monday, things really slowed down.

This next pic was actually taken INSIDE one of the malls. The ceiling was painted like the sky and the lights that lit it up actually changed so it would go from day to night. It was pretty amazing.

and that's it for Vegas ...
