Tara and Kyle
Tara and Kyle's wedding was fantastic! I really enjoyed spending the whole day with them. Here are a few pics from their day...

First we have the gorgeous couple ...

I love this dress shot. The dress was hanging on the outside of the closet and as I was photographing it, I noticed the mirror to the right. I loved the way the mirror framed the dress like a photo on the wall.

Great angle on this 'shoe' shot...

Kyle's number is 50 at work ... so I thought it only appropriate that we incorporate that somehow ...

What a great capture of Kyle smiling at his mom on the way down the aisle ...

Did I mention what GREAT natural lighting this church had??? It was gorgeous and led to some wonderful photos of everyone coming down the aisle. I particularly liked this one. Tara's dad looks so proud ... as well he should.

Kyle seeing Tara come down the aisle ...

Just a beautiful shot during the ceremony ...

Then we headed out for some shots of the two of them and the wedding party before the reception...

All I can do it laugh when I see this shot .... you could see it in their eyes as they were cutting the cake that this was going to happen. It was great!

The first dance ...

Tara and Kyle, I wish you a lifetime of happiness and thank you again for sharing your special day with me!

Another thank you to Karen, who, as you all know, is my friend and right hand when it comes to weddings. You did a wonderful job as always!

Family photos
I thought I would post some images from a family session I had last month. There are 3 or 4 sessions that I never got a chance to post so I'll sprinkle them in with my more current photos.

I had a great time with this family! They were firecrackers! Here are a few of my favorites from our session ...

They brought this bubble machine with them that literally blew thousands of bubbles. Even I was fascinated!! Definitely made for some fun photos ...

I love the expressions in this shot! It just makes you smile!

Thank you thank you thank you for a wonderful session! And, Aneesa, thank you SO much for helping out!! I'm still thinking about hiring you on as an assistant :) You were great!

Jarrod and Judy
I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph this couple's special wedding day! I have liked Jarrod and Judy since they walked through my door for the first time. I thoroughly enjoyed their engagement session and the same was true for their wedding day!
Here are a few shots that jumped out at me...
we'll start with probably one of my favorite bouquet shots ... ever.

Judy getting her necklace on ... just love the composition and detail in this shot.

Judy coming down the aisle with her dad ...

I don't think Jarrod could have been any happier!!!

Here is our beautiful bride ...

and our handsome groom ...

the happy couple ...

what a GREAT first dance shot! Such sass!

it is safe to say .... a good time was had by all!!

Jarrod and Judy ... I wish you a lifetime of happiness! And I would like to send out a BIG thank you to Karen for helping me out and keeping me in line all day!

Melissa

I had so much fun working with Melissa to build her modeling portfolio. These shots are from our studio session. She had SO MANY clothes!!

Love this shot ... such a 'who cares' attitude ... very rock star.

Just some fun shots to show off a more relaxed, happy side ...

Think 'make-up ad' ...

Yes, before anyone asks, I meant to leave my light in this shot. I thought it reminescent of a headlight shining behind her.

I love the brand Diesel. I was going for this look with her swimsuit shot.

Melissa, so glad you loved the pictures! I definitely think we achieved what we were hoping to.

Mini - facelift
So, I decided to give my blog a mini-facelift today. I only changed the colors so don't panic. I am still hesitant to change my template for Blogger because I'm afraid I'll lose all of my previous posts.
So, for now this will have to keep me happy.
I am working on a new website and this color goes better with the new site colors.
AND ... now that I have TOLD everyone that I have a new website coming ... I actually have to spend some time WORKING on it.
Honestly, don't look for it in the very near future. I am buried right now.
So no one is allowed to start asking me why it's not done until November :)

We did his session at one of my favorite locations and we got some great shots!
Here are a few of my favorites ...

I love the lighting on this one ...

We had to get a shot of him in his football jersey ...

Tyler, I hope you have a great senior year! Thank you for being such a cool guy to work with!
