I saw the coolest thing last night. My husband asked if I wanted to go out and watch the space shuttle fly by. I said 'sure'. I didn't really think we'd A) Find it in the sky or B) be able to see it at all, but we DID! We saw the space shuttle fly by with the space station tailing it! I think that is one of the coolest things I have ever seen.

Wow.

Anyway, I wanted to let everyone know that the photography studio will be closed until 6/28. I am headed out of town for a few days! Don't worry, I'll come back with pictures!

Claire

Ok ... so it is safe to say that I absolutely love newborns. They are the most precious things ever! Little Claire was not even a week old when I got to meet her and do her very own photo session!

Toe peas!

For those of you who don't know how much I love the little baby toes ... well, now you do! I call them 'toe peas' because a friend of mine called them that when she had her baby and it just stuck. Plus that's exactly what they look like ... little peas.

Family session

I only do 2 family sessions per month and this month they came almost back to back! That rarely happens. This is a family that I have photographed before and they drove an hour to come back! I'm so honored. One of the things I love about Traci is that she loves pictures as much as I do. That makes us a great pair! Since she is pregnant with her third, we decided to do some maternity photos as well this time.

Love the little woodstock tattoo!!

I just have to say how excited Mike is about having a boy! When a guy is surrounded by 3 girls, a little extra testosterone in the house is a good thing!

Traci wanted the girls to get their pics taken in these cute swim suits and hula skirts ... so cute!

This is one of those shots that equates to being in the right place at the right time :) As I was coming up over the hill, I saw this gorgeous rim of light around her head. Just then, she looked back to see where we all were... wow!

When you have kids involved ... your chances of someone being unhappy at some point during our shoot is pretty good. Of course, I shot it anyway. I love the composition and lighting of it. And the emotion ... ha!

I got to photograph Elliot again for his 3 month session ... which turned out to be his 4 month session by the time we got our schedules together! Of course, his big sister loves the camera ... so we had to include her :)

Jennifer and Jonathan

I spent the evening with this couple out at Mariemont Bluff. What a beautiful location and what a great couple! I have really enjoyed getting to know these two. I really do meet some of the most amazing people on my job. I truly love every minute of it!

Jill and Chris

Jill and Chris' wedding was absolutely beautiful. And I am not only talking about the aethetics, but about the people. Such a great couple and what a fun wedding party!

I had a lot of help with this wedding. I would like to give a big thank you to Karen and Barb for being my 'extra set of eyes and hands' all day long! I can't thank you two enough!

This was, by far, the largest wedding party I have ever had the opportunity to photograph. There were 22 of them including Jill and Chris. Talk about having to be organized to get a shot like this ... whew! It really did turn out fantastic.

And since I was enjoying this location so much, I took a couple of quick photos of the two of them together.

And what wedding would be complete without my signature 'headless shot'?
